"You are came from mud..."
"Or apes,"
"You all will never be on our level,"
"Our level is the greatest,"
"Your people are small,"
"Your women are ugly,"
"Your men are thugs,"
"You all can never be trusted,"
"You all lack the intelligence to compete,"
"You all can never be elite!"

But why
Should we try
To become
Something that's really, really dumb??

Dumb,
As the sun,
Trying to run.

Dumb,
Like the rain,
Shaking a Cain.

Dumb,
Like your son,
Covering up your wrongs.
Now, he has copied you.
Now, he has become you.

In a time when blatant discrimination is being rejected,
Some people sure can be too subjective...
Thinking their way is never wrong,
Thinking we are too bad to the bone.

This bone,
Marked with feelings of being alone,
Has very little relief.
One generation does well,
And we think we have "overcome" something.


Overcome what, exactly???
Our struggles are still real;
They have just evolved.
Do they not realize
This is nothing at all???
It's not like we are being lynched--
Except on the gallows of life.

We have failed to realize
This depressed state
We now "fee-alize."

We are tired, bloodied, and battered.
We have forgotten the "God of our weary years, God of our silent tears."
We have left the Path on which our ancestors trod.
We have become "drunk with the wine of the world."
This is the world that still refuses to help the "least of these."
